I thought that, in Iowa. Then realized we had no chance. Moved to Utah? Realize even "red" is sold, and has sold me, right on down the river. Oh, they... allow firearms, mostly. And a few other things. But what goes on behind closed doors, via politicians? None of them are honest, or good. It's just a matter of who is allowed, encouraged, to be evil.
Even here, they are going left so hard and fast it's dangerous to speak about it. No... I have no more power, even in a red state, to hold politicians to the fire, than I do at the national level. It's... all gone.
