Meteorologists Struggling To Report The Weather As All The Weather Balloons Have Been Shot Down

Are your forecasters as good as ours here on the other side of the lake? We've been promised snow in November, snow in December, blizzards in January, a blast of snow in February, now "the beast from the East" will arrive again in March. What have we had? Freezing fog on one day, about five separate days of morning frost, two separate days of cold, bright sunshine, miserable overcast most days and several separate days of rain: some of it very heavy. I thought fables ended with Aesop but the vastly funded Met Office issue more each day.
