Every time my Dr. or his or her nurse asks me if I want a flu shot, I ask them to tell me what strains of flu the inoculation protects against. When they give the expected, either I don't know or "They don't tell us that" answer I reply with either "if you don't know what strains it protects against why should I take it" or "why don't you know? You're administering an inoculation to a patient and you can't tell the patient what strains of flu it protects against or which strains of flu might be prevalent this year?"
Then I get the three headed death stare for DARING to question their knowledge.
