Why is this news? They've been doing this for decades. Historically, less than 2 in 1000 births involve babies with abnormal genitalalia. Sometimes they cut, sometimes they stitch, but I would prefer than they use sound medical practice as a basis for their actions, and not to simply flip a coin.

Just when think things can't get any worse, they lower the bar.

And if the kid grows up and has a problem with having been horribly abused as an infant that just means they have "internalized transphobia".
