Tied down roof? Years ago there were ads promoting this concept except they had what looked like cargo nets over the roof, secured with ground anchors. Still makes sense to me.
I live in rural Tennessee. I can promise you this: we have not fallen and our community is traditionalist and not a part of the transgender agenda. And, I have actually met Wirecutter and occasionally run into him in the local grocery stores. What a small world.
