Chinese Culture Day at Shea Stadium 8/6

Does anyone really need another reason to not support pro sports?

I quit watching all professional sports years ago. There was a time I absolutely loved baseball but then Ricky Henderson broke the stolen base record. He was ATM the highest paid player in baseball but then wanted much more including a new Ferrari or he was going to slack off. That's when I quit watching all baseball. Don't even get me started on Pete Rose.

Looks like a shit stain on the underside of the bill. Which, in a manner of speaking, it is.

Not that I would have attended this game, but if so, would have ripped that hat to shreds and thrown the pieces in the air. F communism. Hybo

It's sad that the Chinese Communists try to equate their "culture" with that of Ancient China's. The only parallels they have is that the Chicoms speak Mandarin. The real repository of Chinese culture is Taiwan. Most of the Chinese intellectuals who were in mainland China after the Revolution were executed by Mao and his minions--some were able to escape to Taiwan (Formosa at the time)
