ATF: Pot Users Can't Legally Own Firearms Regardless Of State Laws

 

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) warned in a Tuesday advisory that Minnesota residents who use marijuana cannot legally own firearms despite the recent legalization of cannabis for recreational use.

There are no federal firearms laws. You have voluntarily given up your weapons if you comply.

WTF do we have to do to the government, up to and including firing all of them for incompetence, to get pot reclassified. If it has any medical uses (which it does) it can't be classified under Schedule 1.

Hell, recent articles have found that MDMA and LSD have valid medical uses.
