For the past two years if the school board office filled out the federal School Lunch grant students got free breakfast and lunch in GA and many other states. The days they had "digital learning" and the students stayed home where they worked on-line the bus drivers ran the routes to give out "free" lunches. The school system had to provide X amount of lunches and it was cheaper to pay the bus driver and lunch room staff to make the lunches than to loose the grant money.
