Too crippled and outta shape to ride But I still have the pedals off my Volkscycle ten speed I bought in 77. The toe traps still on, the damage from hitting asphalt in turns and the circular grooves from spinning and sliding down the road make me smile.
I use to ride barefoot with those kind of pedals. Random people felt they had the need to call me all kinds of names because of pedaling barefoot. I grew up in Hawaii. I went barefoot everywhere. Including walking on jagged lava reefs. Only the thorns from the Kiawe tree bothered me. These pedals were no match. They actually felt like a foot massage.
