CHIEF NOSE WETTER'S SARCASM DERIVED THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF A GLASS
Paint on aircraft does not last long. One I flew had been repainted 6 times. You see this more on corporate aircraft. The rich folk don't like something looking too shabby. The airlines, they don't care it cost money so if it looks a little long on tooth so be it. They only get painted during a major overhaul of the aricraft.
It's a closeup on a crash site. There's debris scattered all over the place from the explosion. So, yeah, same copter

HC, I have never seen vinyl on a rotor craft. Those are usually applied to larger lease aircraft. It is cheaper to apply your name and logo that way as opposed to painting a aircraft with your brand and then stripping and repainting back to original paint on lease return.
