The Garlic Blues

If anyone has checked recently most of the garlic found in supermarkets is from Communist China. I refuse to buy garlic from China. California garlic powder is getting harder and harder to find with the Chinese influx of garlic putting farmers out of business. If anyone has a recommendation for CA garlic powder please leave a comment. I will continue to refuse to sprinkle my favorite pizza with Mao.

Kirkland brand is made in CA with CA garlic.

California grows garlic. Should not be a problem. Gilroy, California is well known for its garlic crop and for the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, featuring various garlicky foods, including garlic ice cream.

Sorry, but I grow my own garlic. I usually plant three different varieties every year to try all the various ones that I can find. Last fall it was Georgian Fire, Thai Fire and Polish White. Haven't decided yet for this fall................

Many of the bulk herb/spice stores online offer a choice of California and China sources.

Chinese garlic should still work to repel vampires.

Amazon has California garlic.

You do realize that there ain't a whole hell of a lot of difference between semi communist China and sorta communist California, right?
