CHIEF NOSE WETTER'S SARCASM DERIVED THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF A GLASS
I spent many happy hours in this very pub. D & N's has been around since the dawn of time on Baggot Street Dublin. My first encounter was in the mid-1970's and I realized it was a watering hole for the Legal professionals (Solicitors) and the politicians so I spent many happy hours downing pints there. I became friends with many of each. It was a wonderful pub back in the day. Rustic and quaint. My memory replays my visits to many historical Dublin pubs like McDaids, Nearys, the Long Hall, The Palace on Fleet Street (My all time favorite) and two long gone beauties at the top of Grafton street: Sinnott's and Rice's (Both magnificent structures but destroyed in the 70's to be replaced by an enclosed shopping mall). Dublin was the town I loved so well.
Never been to Ireland. It is on my bucket list.
