Chief Nose Wetter's sarcasm derived through the bottom of a glass
The smaller format videos did not play, the larger ones played fine.
I have a Sony Vaio, running Windows 10. I had problems with about 75% of all videos; the center to right of the screen was a big blur and looked to be the center of the screen smeared to the right. There is a video acceleration setting in the Sony Vaio control panel (not Windows control panel) that has to be disabled. After that, no problem.
No problems so far. But I avoided the dreaded 8.1 and will stave off 10 as long as possible.I paid extra to buy a Dell "Inspiron" running Windows 7 Home Premium recently after my HP laptop running Windows Vista died. I tried to get the operating system Windows XP but wasn't successful.
My Android(6.0) phone, with VLC as an option, using Chrome or CM browser, won't play 3gp videos.
Windows 7 x64 with Firefox 45.0. No issues.
Thanks for all the feedback. Unfortunately we are forced to upgrade to the latest OS Windows 10 with many of the new computers offered. I just upgraded from an old Vista Toshiba computer to a HP Pavilion. So far so good. I have not spilled a cocktail on it yet! You guys rock!
7. Chrome. No issues.
